China hosts the largest sporting event in the world; the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
Denmark’s National Olympic Committee and chairman of the Danish Sports Confederation, Hans Natorp, has solid experience with sports, and knows the sports world from the inside both as an Olympic athlete, exerciser, leader and politician. This, we are sure, will be a huge advantage in the participation of the Winter Olympics.
His participation is a huge win for Danish sports

“Hans Natorp, chairman of the Danish Sports Confederation, has solid sports experience and knows the sports world from the inside as an Olympic athlete, exerciser, leader and politician. In 1988, Hans Natorp himself represented the Danish colors as a sailing athlete at the Olympic Games in Seoul, and he remains active in several sports. Hans has a valuable network in the world and is at the same time shaped by the strong community of sport. His participation is a huge win for Danish sports. ”
60 Danish athletes qualified at present
Hans Natorp chairman subsequently speaks to Peter Jensen.
“We are looking forward to and are ready to travel to China for the Olympics in Beijing at the end of January 2022. We have 60 Danish athletes qualified at present and possibly even more to come. 33 Danish athletes are currently selected. We sent two curling teams for the Olympics this year because they have qualified through the World Cup in the Spring of 2021 for women and an Olympic qualifying tournament for men here in December 2021. In Pyeong Chang four years ago we also had two curling teams at the Olympics.
This, we are sure, will be a huge advantage in our efforts in the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing 2022. We do not know whether the Danish government will send politicians as representatives of Denmark to the event. they have not decided yet. And it is not us who decide this.”

ISHOCKEY TEAM OF DENMARK
The Danish women’s national ice hockey team is going to the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing 2022. That is why Mikkel Sansone Øhrgaard, who is head of Mission OL Beijing 2022, is delighted.
“It is absolutely formidable what the Danish ice hockey women have just achieved. We in Denmark have registered 215 women between the ages of 18 and 40 who play ice hockey, and 23 of them are now going to the Winter Olympics in Beijing.” – says Mikkel Sansone Øhrgaard.

Politicians have not yet commented on their possible participation in the Winter Olympics
Former President Joachim Gauck of the Federal Republic of Germany stated earlier:
“The Winter Olympics in Beijing are to take place at the beginning of the year from February 4 to February 20, 2022 in BEIJING. I do not think we should politicize these topics for the Winter Olympics. I just have a wish that Germany’s athletes achieve good results in the Winter Games. “

Kina afholder det største sportsarrangement i verden; de Olympiske Vinterlege i Beijing 2022.
Danmarks national Olympiske Komité og Danmarks Idrætsforbunds formand, Hans Natorp, har solid erfaring med idræt, og kender idrætsverdenen indefra både som OL-atlet, motionist, leder og politiker. Dette, er vi sikre på, bliver en kæmpe fordel i arbejdet omkring de Olympiske Vinterlege.

“Hans Natorp formand for Danmarks Idrætsforbund har solid idrætslig erfaring og kender idrætsverdenen indefra som både OL-atlet, motionist, leder og politiker. I 1988 repræsenterede Hans Natorp selv de danske farver som sejlsports atlet ved de Olympiske Lege i Seoul, og han er fortsat aktiv motionist i flere idrætter.
Hans har et værdifuldt netværk i verden og er samtidig formet af idrættens stærke fællesskab. Det er en kæmpe gevinst for dansk idræt.”
60 danske atleter på nuværende tidspunkt
Hans Natorp formand udtaler efterfølgende til Peter Jensen.
“Vi glæder os og er klar til at rejse til Kina til OL i Beijing i slutningen af januar 2022. Vi har kvalificeret 60 danske atleter på nuværende tidspunkt og flere endnu kan nå komme til. 33 danske atleter er pt. udtaget. Vi sender to curlinghold til OL, fordi de har kvalificeret sig gennem VM i foråret 2021 for kvindernes vedkommende og en OL-kvalifikationsturnering for herrerne her i december 2021. I Pyeongchang for fire år siden havde vi også to curlinghold med ved OL.
Det, er vi sikre på, bliver en kæmpe fordel i arbejde omkring de Olympiske Vinterlege i Beijing 2022. Vi ved ikke, om den danske regering sender politikere, som repræsentanter for Danmark. Dette har de ikke afgjort endnu. Og det er ikke os, der beslutter dette.
ISHOCKEY TEAM AF DANMARK
Det danske kvindelandshold i ishockey skal til de Olympiske Vinterlege i Beijing 2022. Derfor glæder Mikkel Sansone Øhrgaard, der er chef for Mission OL Beijing 2022.
– “Det er fuldstændig formidabelt, hvad de danske ishockey kvinder netop har præsteret. Vi har i Danmark registreret 215 kvinder mellem 18 og 40 år, der spiller ishockey, og 23 af dem skal nu til vinter-OL i Beijing.” – fortæller Mikkel Sansone Øhrgaard.

Tidligere præsident Joachim Gauck, for Forbundsrepublikken Tyskland udtalte tidligere:
“Vinter-OL i Beijing skal finde sted i begyndelsen af året fra 4. februar til 20. februar 2022 i BEIJING. Jeg synes ikke, at vi skal politisere disse emner for de Olympiske Vinterlege. Jeg har bare et ønske om at Tysklands sportsfolk opnår gode resultater i Vinterlegene.”
