Som en del af en rundrejse i Europa besøger H.E. Indiens premierminister Narendra Modi Danmark den 3.-4. maj. Under det officielle besøg, som statsministeren er vært for, modtager H.M. Dronningen den 3. maj premierministeren i audiens, og efterfølgende er Majestæten vært ved en officiel middag i Christian VII’s Palæ på Amalienborg. Kronprinsparret vil være til stede ved både modtagelsen og middagen.
Premierminister Modis besøg sker i forlængelse af statsministerens officielle besøg i Indien i oktober 2021. Det er første gang i 20 år, at en indisk premierminister er på officielt besøg i Danmark.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a three-nation Europe trip, attended a dinner hosted by the Queen of the Kingdom of Denmark on Tuesday.

The Queen of the Kingdom of Denmark, Margrethe II, hosted an official dinner for Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen, Denmark on Tuesday.
PM Modi took to Twitter to share images of his meeting with Margrethe II. “Met Her Majesty, the Queen of the Kingdom of Denmark, Margrethe II in Copenhagen,” he said in the caption.

PM Modi landed in Demark after visiting Germany. Queen of Denmark Margrethe II extended a warm reception to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his visit on Tuesday.

Queen of the Kingdom of Denmark, Margrethe II hosted an official dinner for Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Efterfølgende er Majestæten vært ved en officiel middag i Christian VII’s Palæ på Amalienborg. Kronprinsparret vil være til stede ved både modtagelsen og middagen.

PM Modi also met his Danish counterpart Mette Frederiksen. The two leaders held talks in a one-on-one format, followed by delegation-level talks. They held extensive discussions on the full range of bilateral cooperation as well as matters of regional and global interests.

“India’s Green Strategic Partnership with Denmark is deeply valued. PM Frederiksen and I discussed how we can make this partnership even more effective. We also discussed cooperation in sectors such as renewable energy, ports, shipping, water management and more,” PM Modi said in another tweet.
