On May 6, 2025, Her Majesty the Queen attended a concert by the Royal Danish Academy of Music’s Symphony Orchestra, conducted by students from the conducting class.

Upon arrival at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Frederiksberg, the Queen was received by Rector Helene Gjerris, Chairman of the Board Kim Bohr, Vice-Rector Torben Puggaard, and Chief Administrative Officer Carsten Ruby.
The Queen was then given a tour of the building designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen, during which she visited rehearsal rooms and was introduced to the Academy’s work with young talents and classical music.

The Royal Danish Academy of Music was founded in 1867 by composer Niels W. Gade and, with around 400 students, is Denmark’s largest music conservatory focused on classical music.
