On January 18, guests from all over Denmark gathered in Copenhagen to witness the Opening Ceremony of the Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Denmark and the Danish Hunanese Association.

2. Background

The Opening Ceremony of the Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Denmark and Danish Hunanese Association is chaired by Vice Chairman Feng Wei in Chinese, and by Chen Sisi, Chairman of Nordic Travel and Wellness Association, in English.

Ms. Xiao Lingyan, the founding chairman of the Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Denmark and Danish Hunanese Association delivered her warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to all the guests on behalf of all members of the two associations.

In 2018, Xiao Lingyan started her own business and established Hyggegaard A/S with her friends in Denmark. In the beginning of 2019, Xiao Lingyan started her partnership with Tang Yong, Managing Director of Datang Group in Finland and Hunan Northern Europe Investment Management Co., Ltd.

3. Letter of Congratulations (78 Congrats from over 20 countries)

The Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Denmark received the 78 Letters of Congratulations from the chambers of commerce in 20 countries, from various Chinese government and organizations, the Federation of Overseas Chinese, associations and companies in just over 3 weeks.

Vice Chairman Zhongmin Peng read the letter of Congratulations from the Federation of Overseas Chinese in Hunan Province.  “The establishment of the Hunan Chamber of Commerce enhances Denmark’s good image in the world, brings closer relations between countries and regions, and bridges economic exchanges between Danish government and various chambers of commerce. We hope that the two associations may strengthen their ties in jointly seeking opportunities for cooperation and in promoting exchanges and development between the two organizations. “

4. Unveiling Ceremony

The hosts invited Copenhagen City Councilor Heidi Wang and Chairman Xiao Lingyan to unveil the plaque of the Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Denmark.

Liu Junyan, senior overseas Chinese calligrapher in Denmark, presented a calligraphy and painting to the Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Denmark on behalf of the Danish Chinese Tourism & Cultural Exchange Association.

5. Mission of the Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Denmark

The mission of the Hunan Chamber of Commerce in Denmark is to promote and strengthen exchanges and cooperation between related Danish and Hunan organizations, companies and individuals in economic, cultural and educational fields.

The basic development plan for 2020: First, the Chamber will try to gain a better understanding of the needs of Hunan and Danish companies; Second, the Chamber will strengthen official and private exchanges, and will strive to receive more Hunan delegations to visit Denmark; Third, the Chamber will strive to land as soon as possible all the Hunan-related projects launched last year; Fourth, The Chamber hopes that everyone will be more passionate and energetic, striving to bring more people to improve themselves and motivating more people to make a successful business.
