Kronprinsen deltager i åbning af markering af 100-året05/06/2021
Som Kronprinsen af Danmark var med til at markeere, så deltog han i åbning af konference til markering af 100-året for de diplomatiske relationer mellem Danmark og Estland, Letland og Litauen i København af 4. juni 2021. De lande grænser op til Rusland og er med i bæltet af forsvaret da Rusland var i krig med østen, og hører med til Balkan landene.

On the occasion of 100 years of diplomatic relations between Denmark and Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, the Danish Foreign Policy Society together with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Denmark, The Danish Cultural Institute and the Danish Embassies in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania invite you to attend a high-level conference in Copenhagen on 4 June 2021, under the headline Together in the Past, Present and Future. The conference aims to identify and discuss future opportunities of cooperation between Denmark and Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania in context of the unique shared history.
The conference has been opened by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Denmark.
The agenda will feature a discussion among the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the four countries, Mr. Jeppe Kofod, Ms. Eva-Maria Liimets, Mr. Edgars Rinkēvičs and Mr. Garbrielius Landsbergis on the future of Danish-Baltic political cooperation. A second panel will take us through the events of 30 years ago. Possibilities and opportunities for Danish-Baltic cooperation within sectors of common interests and competencies such as research/innovation, energy/climate and urban development will be discussed in a third panel.
