The German Chancellor and the Danish Prime Minister has been taken student questions at UCPH debate on Europe’s challenges at the University of Copenhagen on Tuesday, 28 April.2015.
Students have had the chance to grill two major EU leaders about European politics on Tuesday.
The German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt will met at the University of Copenhagen to discuss the political and economic challenges facing Europe today and in the future.
Students have had the opportunity to take questions from the leaders after they each present short speeches.
Immigration is expected to be a key topic, as European leaders debate how to distribute asylum seekers who apply for protection from the EU.
Protector for Education Lykke Friis debated and moderated this event the future of European politics in front of a packed house at UCPH central campus in Frue Plads.
